A stone of strength, will-power, and protection. It is said that Noah from the Bible used a Garnet stone as a beacon of light and hope during the darkness if the great flood. The story of Persephone also references Garnet as a symbol of the pomegranate seeds Hades gave her in the deal to allow her to rise from the underworld.
